Forêt de Tronçais | Midleton Very Rare |

Late in 2022 year a small crew of three drove deep into the heart of the forest in France which gives the whiskey its name. Over three days we shot the majority of this ambitious piece for Midleton Very Rare amongst one of the most impressive sessile oak stands in Europe. We then spent a couple of days in the studio getting acquainted with projection mapping and a day in Middleton with brilliant master distiller Kevin O'Gorman. We're very grateful for the heroic levels of trust from both MVR and Teneo. This is one we're exceptionally proud of.

In 2022 we were asked to shoot a batch of social content for one of the slickest spirit brands around: Midleton Distillery’s Method and Madness.

We used a selection of gobos to reinforce the patterns on the packaging, a dash of post production trickery to bring a sense of energy and a split screen execution to reinforce the two worlds of Method and Madness it takes to create an exceptional range of whiskey and Gin. All assets were supplied with and without typography by Werner Goss-Ross at Thanks, You’re Welcome from Cape Town.

Featuring four SKUs, four different cocktails, fifteen GIFs, thirty images and countless glasses.

Our friends over at Sweartaker approached us with a pretty exciting brief: be creative and have fun with it.

The content was captured using the latest 360 degree cameras and was directed entirely remotely - we saw COVID restrictions as a springboard to seek out new and better ways to tell the story.
